Dad the blushing bride.392 viewsAs I look at these pictures taken on the RKO Ranch, I can't help but wonder who was taking them.
Dad the chef367 viewsI don't know where this was taken.
Dad the cook312 viewsThis picture was taken in Darlow, Kansas. I'm not sure who else is in the picture.
Dad the cowboy.396 viewsMore clowning around. It never gets old, does it?
Dad the fairy or whatever341 viewsJust when you think he has run out of ideas, it just gets better.
Dad the rockhound.389 viewsI'm really not sure where this was taken. I want to say the RKO Ranch, although the rock outcropping looks out of place for this location. He seems to be wearing military clothing (at least boots and pants). The clothing may be left overs from WW I when he was in the Calvary, albeit a cook.
Dad the soldier320 viewsDad's enlistment in the U.S. Army Air Force occurred in 1942. This photo must have been taken soon after enlisting. No stripes on his shirt.
Dad with a car.351 viewsPretty spiffy car. I'm not sure who it belonged to. I'm pretty sure he couldn't afford a car at that time.
Dad with the horse353 viewsI guess he finally got the horse roped. They seem to be old friends now.
Dad, Alberta, Grandpa's grocery store.397 viewsThis was taken in front of Grandpa Ferlemann's grocery store in Manhattan, Kansas. Sometime after mom and dad got married in 1920. The woman is Alberta Ferlemann, mom's sister.
Dad, the car, and the doll332 viewsSome kind of toy, I guess. I'm not sure if it was mechanical and made some kind of movement.
